I have been invited to the annual Halloween party and of course it isn't just a Halloween party, it is obviously a
Halloween fancy dress party. The words "fancy dress" terrify me like many others. It's not just the fact that I will have to dress up in a silly outfit but all the other things that come along with having to prepare myself for a fancy dress party. There is the hassle of deciding what fancy dress costume you want to wear , then there is the pain in the back-side of having to buy the costume and then the heart wrenching pain of coughing up the money for it!
Being a Halloween fancy dress party I decided I should go along with the theme and choose a scary costume. I thought this was a big decision and a step closer to my goal but it turns out there are quite a few "scary costumes" these days. I narrowed it down by deciding I wanted a mask to hide behind instead of face paints or any of that nonsense. I went to the nearest fancy dress shop and only found a selection of used and beaten looking costumes that had no appeal and a hefty price tag. Whilst in the shop however I heard two girls talking about an online fancy dress store that sells costumes for you to keep for the same price or in some cases lots less. This sounded more appealing to me as i wouldn't have to worry about spilling my pint down the front and then having to pay an additional hefty fee. I immediately left the slightly freaky shop and once home did some research and came across a company called Jokers' Masquerade . Not only were there hundreds of Halloween fancy dress costumes to choose from but there were even ones I started getting excited about wearing. Being a big Batman fan I liked the look of "The Joker" costume. When I said I am a big Batman fan, I meant "big" in every sense of the word, so I was even more delighted to see that Jokers' Masquerade had the costume in "FC" which I believe stands for Full Cut. On top of that the costume had a mask, so my mind was made up, this "The Joker" was going to be my Halloween costume.
Of-course there were loads of close contenders at Jokers' Masquerade, Halloween costumes like Jigsaw from the Saw movies or the evil Daleks from Dr. Who. Once my mind was made up I simply added it to my basket and went through the easy checkout process. The price seemed a lot at first but once I took into consideration that i'm going to keep it and can use it again at all the other parties if I wanted, I decided this Halloween costume was good value for money. The Joker costume came with a jacket with attached shirt, tie and waistcoat, trousers and most importantly a scary face mask. I opted for the 5 day Express delivery option as I had plenty of time before the Halloween party on the 30th of October. The brown box arrived after just three days! I tried it on and it fits well and I find myself nearly looking forward to the Halloween fancy dress party now. Next time I hear the words "fancy dress" I will not shudder with fear but instead visit Jokers' Masquerade @ http://www.joke.co.uk/.
